“The Three Musketeers of the Delamere, Colin Church, Roland Minns and Robin Byers tried their luck in the 2009 edition of this 50+ Year Old competition held at Kilifii at the end of January fishing for the 5th consecutive year on KIPAPA whose waterline had been extended by 8 feet during the close season. This extension has enhanced considerably what had already been comfortable and spacious accommodation with additional seating area, a shower and more than ample deck space for fighting the ‘big’ ones, but more importantly it provides for a smoother ride in choppy conditions.

This was not to be KIPAPA’S year in spite of 5 sailfish tagged and released; the professional teamwork of Howard and his splendid crew as always instill confidence and security. We look look forward to 2010 with renewed hope”.
